The Four Major Lines
The palm has four primary lines — Life, Head, Heart, and Fate. The first three are present on every hand; the Fate Line appears on roughly 30% of palms. Each line has rich variations:

Path: Arcs from the thumb-index web toward the wrist

The Five Minor Lines
Beyond the major lines, the palm may carry auxiliary lines. Not everyone has them — they appear when relevant:
Sun Line
Position: Runs down from the ring finger
Governs: Fame, popularity, artistic recognition
A deep Sun Line brings recognition and appreciation from others. No Sun Line doesn't mean no success — it means you don't chase the spotlight.
Mercury Line
Position: Runs down from the pinky

Health Line

Marriage Line
Position: Side of the palm, below the pinky
Governs: Emotional bonds and committed relationships
A deep Marriage Line indicates a stable bond. Multiple lines don't mean multiple marriages — they represent deeply felt relationships.
Travel Line
Position: Side of the palm, above the Heart Line
Governs: Fortune away from home
Clear Travel Lines favor relocation and frequent travel. Multiple lines = significant moves or journeys.
Minor lines follow the rule: "if present, read them; if absent, don't." Their absence doesn't mean you lack that quality — it just means it's not a dominant theme.

Example: Chain at Life Line start = frail childhood; chain at Head Line start = childhood overthinking

Example: Island on Life Line = health challenge; island on Heart Line = emotional difficulty
⚡ Break
A clear gap or interruption in the line
Meaning: Major change or turning point

🔱 Fork
One line splitting into two or more
Meaning: Energy branching into multiple directions

Two short lines intersecting
