The Five Features & Their Five Elements
Each feature corresponds to one of the Five Elements (Wood, Fire, Earth, Metal, Water) — the same elemental system used in astrology, feng shui, and traditional medicine. The elements interact: when they support each other, the face is harmonious; when they clash, tension shows.
As Ma Yi Shen Xiang teaches: "Ears are the Listener, brows are the Longevity Marker, eyes are the Inspector, nose is the Judge, mouth is the Speaker." Each "office" has a job — and the face reading is the org chart.
The five features read "form" and "spirit" — and spirit matters more. A face with average features but luminous spirit outshines a "perfect" face with dead eyes.

Five Principles for Reading the Features

- ✅ Proportion — Features should be in harmony with each other
